To protect your account, include your API key prefix only (first 6–8 characters, e.g. gv_a3Bx). Never paste the full key.

Common Fixes

404 on path request? Make sure you called /v1/precompute first and that grid_id matches.

401 Unauthorized? Include your key as X-API-Key: gv_... or Authorization: Bearer gv_...

429 Rate limited? Check X-Usage-Percent response header. You may be at your monthly quota or burst limit.

API down? Check /health — if it returns {"status":"ok"}, the API is running and the issue is likely auth or request format.
